Your Chamber of Commerce

The Talbot County Chamber of Commerce is committed to improving the local business climate, because we believe that when your business succeeds, our community also prospers. Chamber members are a cross-section of our area's businesses - from home based sole proprietors to large corporations with multiple branches. No matter how large or small your business, your Chamber values the contribution you make to our community. How Does Your Chamber Operate?

Your Chamber Board of Directors is made up of 18 business and professional people who are responsible for establishing policies and procedures for the organization. The Chamber has 4 full and/or part time staff persons who are responsible to the Board and committees. As a member, you have hired: the Chamber Staff to work towards the enhancement of your business and the Talbot County community. The Chamber is financed, for the most part, by its members. Your investment makes the work of the Chamber possible.
