2010 Legislative Outlook Luncheon Set For November 3rd
The Talbot Chamber Government & Regulatory Committee is hosting a 2010 Legislative Outlook Luncheon on November 3, 2009 at Scossa Restaurant. Featured speakers are Senator Richard Colburn and Delegate Jeannie Haddaway-Riccio. Cost for the luncheon is $20 members, $25 guests. Microsoft Office Training now offered by the Talbot Chamber
The Talbot Chamber is working with Rita C. Hill, MBA to offer its members customized Microsoft Office training.
The Three hour classes will be limited to eight individuals and can be offered in morning and afternoon sessions. Subject to be taught are: Into to Excel, Intermediate Excel 2007, Advance Excel, Introduction to Outlook, Intermediate Outlook, basic Computer Skills and Introduction to Word, Intermediate Word, Introduction to Powerpoint, Advance Powerpoint, Introduction to Access, Intermediate Access and Learning Office 2007.

The Waterfowl Festival takes place November 13-15 in downtown Easton, Maryland, off Route 50. Festival hours are: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Sunday 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Record Deficit Renews Calls for Statuory PAYGO
The Administration announced Oct. 16 that the federal budget deficit reached $1.4 trillion in the fiscal year that ended in September, prompting a renewed round of finger-pointing from both political parties about who is to blame and universal agreement that deficit-reducing measures must be instituted as the economy recovers. FCC'S Net Neutrality Rules Could Exempt GOOGLE
