CANCELED: THE US COAST GUARD HAS ISSUED A SMALL CRAFT ADVISORY ON THE CHESAPEAKE BAY AND ITS ESTUARIES FROM 6AM SATURDAY THROUGH 6PM SUNDAY, EXPECTING SUSTAINED WINDS FROM 10-19 MPH AND POSSIBLE GUSTS OF 31 MPH, MAKING CONDITIONS UNFAVORABLE FOR PADDLING.

Presented by the Talbot County Young Professionals, Paddle-Jam returns with a great new location! Join us at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels, MD for a fun 4.5 mile paddle poker run along the Miles River, passing iconic sights like the Hooper Strait Lighthouse, the Inn at Perry Cabin & Miles River Yacht Club. Post-race awards party at CBMM's campus with music, lunch and local brews! Open to all types of paddle craft & any level paddler. A portion of the proceeds will support CBMM's Rising Tide after-school program.
Paddle Jam is a paddle poker event, where paddlers will receive a random jumbo poker card at several stops create their best hand. Best hands win valuable prizes!
All participants are required to wear USCG-approved PFDs, and SUP participants are required to wear a leash.
Paddlers who register before September 8th will receive an event t-shirt and swag bag.
Registration fees are non-refundable. There is no rain date. Event will take place weather permitting. Come prepared in case of wet weather. If the US Coast Guard issues a small-craft-advisory during the scheduled event time, event organizers reserve the right to cancel the event for the safety of all.
