Paid Family and Medical Leave is coming to Maryland
Beginning in 2026, workers will be able to take time away from work to care for themselves or a family member and still be paid up to $1000 a week for up to 12 weeks, thanks to Maryland's FAMLI program.
What does this mean to you as a business owner, HR professional or employee?
Come listen to representatives from the Maryland Department of Labor speak on this new program.
FAMLI was established through the Time To Care Act passed by the Maryland General Assembly. Maryland is the 11th state (including DC) to pass such a law. Three more have since followed.
Registration includes boxed lunch, cookie and a drink.
