Inn Housekeeper
A charming and luxurious inn located in the heart of the historic vacation destination of St. Michaels, Maryland is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inn Housekeeper with strong housekeeping skills. The Inn housekeeping will consist of both interior and exterior areas to be cleaned and maintained. This is a part-time position, approximately 20-32 hours a week, weekends required.
Salary: $16.00 - $18.00/hour + tips, depending on experience

Essential Job Functions:- The housekeeping duties include, but are not limited to: room cleaning, bath and bedroom cleaning and preparation for guests, room amenities review & replenishment, laundry, common area housekeeping (hallways, corridors, eating areas, etc.) and review of linens and towels
- Upkeep of housekeeping records
- Handle overall hotel cleaning such as glass, patios, dishwashing machine operation, paper product stock review, and any other tasks in the housekeeping and maintenance area requested by the owners or managers
- Ability to review a room and identify areas which need attention as far as maintenance and if any items which have been removed or are broken/damaged
- Carrying of a cleaning caddy and linens that weigh less than 20 pounds, including up and down stairs
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Entry-level experience
Education: High school diploma or equivalent- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and navigate going up and down flights of stairs
- Reliable and excellent attendance a must
- Previous hotel cleaning experience preferred
Schedule: Approximately 20-32 hours a week, weekends required
