Innkeeper

A charming and luxurious inn located in the heart of the historic vacation destination of St. Michaels, Maryland is seeking an experienced Innkeeper with strong innkeeping skills and previous hotel management experience. If you are customer service focused and have a desire to making a guests stay a pleasant experience, then this may be the opportunity for you!
Salary: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on experience
Job Type: Full-time or part-time position available
Work Location: St. Michaels, Maryland
Essential Job Functions:- Front office duties include taking reservations and correctly inputting data into the hotel reservation system
- Perform inspection of rooms prior to guests checking in to ensure it is in up to standards
- Review all online reservations for accuracy of rates, conditions and dates
- Assist in the housekeeping/laundry duties when needed
- May be required to prepare and provide basic breakfast/lunch items for guests
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Experience Level: Entry-Level Experience
Education: High school diploma or GED- Previous innkeeper, assistant hotel or inn manager experience required
- Customer service focused team player with accurate data entry skills
- Knowledge of reservation systems
- Good phone skills with the ability to multi-task efficiently
Schedule: 30-40 hours a week, weekends required
