Partners In Care Maryland, Inc. (PIC) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering Older Adults to age in place with Dignity and Respect through a unique culture of service exchange and time banking. Established in 1993, PIC offers neighborly, niche services, including transportation, handyman repairs, and service navigation to ensure that our communities and older adults continue to age safely, independently, and with dignity and respect in their homes.
Site Director (Montgomery County)
The successful Site Director will spearhead the growth of Partners In Care’s presence in Montgomery County to bring our programs and services to the area. They will have a broad knowledge of program management principles and community activities affecting older adults in the Montgomery County area. The Site Director must have a strategic mindset and be able to lead and develop subordinates. The incumbent will be responsible for the site's day-to-day operations. The driving goals of this position are to increase capacity, efficiency, visibility, financial sustainability, and community awareness of Partners in Care to serve the older adults in the area better. Growing a business from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Planning and Growth:
Community Engagement and Outreach with a proven track record (heavy concentration on Business Development).
Partner with upper management to develop and execute a business strategy for establishing the site in Montgomery County.
Identify and pursue opportunities for the acquisition of new volunteers.
Develop a strategic plan to enhance financial sustainability through grants, donations, and fundraising activities.
Increase community awareness of Partners In Care’s programs by partnering with community leaders and influencers.
Seek, obtain, and develop new partnerships with local organizations and stakeholders.
Attend community events and business meetings to represent Partners In Care.
Leadership and Development:
Lead and mentor Volunteers, ensuring they are effectively engaged in outreach and capacity-building activities, providing necessary training, and conducting required performance evaluations.
Recruit, train, and mentor Partners In Care Volunteers.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Operational Management:
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Montgomery County site, ensuring efficiency and a welcoming atmosphere.
Verify timesheets, maintain direct report schedules, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Maintain a clean, orderly, and welcoming office environment.
Other duties as assigned.
Travel and Training:
Travel to Headquarters/ Anne Arundel County for orientation, training, and development as needed.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA):
Proven leadership skills, preferably using the servant leadership model.
Extensive project management experience with the ability to prioritize multiple projects.
Strong strategic mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and suggest solutions.
Excellent knowledge of networking and relationship building
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, across various mediums (phone, media, face-to-face).
Proficiency with general office equipment and computer software.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Business Development/Management, Nonprofit Management) or equivalent experience.
5-7+ years of experience in business development and fundraising, preferably in the human services non-profit space.
Experience and proven ability to build and grow relationships with key donors, funders, and partners.
Experience in the development and oversight of effective marketing and communications strategies.
Exceptional written and oral communication skills to clearly and persuasively convey messaging to diverse external audiences.
Proven ability to generate and execute ideas and process improvements that drive an organization forward.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A bias for action – someone who sees what needs to be done and can work collaboratively to execute.
Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to roll up your sleeves and be a team player.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for travel within Montgomery County and to other sites as needed.
